We begin 2026 by spotlighting D.C.’s own Gizwop—an artist whose voice, presence, and story reflect the energy of the city’s youth. Born and raised in Southeast D.C., Gizwop represents more than music. He embodies the culture, community, and mentality that continue to influence how D.C. moves, sounds, and styles itself.

Hailing from 37th SE, Gizwop has built a wave rooted in his neighborhood—one that’s grown far beyond his immediate surroundings. His rise speaks to authenticity and connection, earning recognition across the city and collaborations with artists like Shy Glizzy and No Savage. It’s a reflection of what happens when local truth resonates on a larger stage.

The SOMEWHERE® 2026 Tee marks the beginning of an annual project dedicated to highlighting influential individuals from our world in D.C. and beyond. Each year, at the start of the calendar, we’ll release one edition—created to document a moment in time, not to be repeated.
