Queens New York native and streetwear legend Angelo Baque founded NYC-based clothing brand AWAKE NY in 2012. Drawing from a wealth of experience, including ten years as the Brand Director of Supreme, stints at legendary stores Stüssy and Nom de Guerre, and his now-defunct first label, Absurd, Baque strives to capture the unique cultural spirit of New York City. Positioning itself as “simultaneously classic and contemporary,” Awake NY synthesizes decades of streetwear lineage into collections that are diverse in both reference and representation, but are unmistakably current in their design.
